Well, shit!

Good morning everyone!

It's Sunday, and that means, time to continue with Eric and Jory's story. I'm on the couch, and my ankle still is hurting. It's a week now, and I think that it takes to long, but I'm an impatient person.

Yesterday I started designing the cover for The Wentworth Pack. This time, It's, challenging and for the life of me, I don't know why. I always have a picture in mind of how the cover has to look like, except not this time. Well, shit! Plus, I still don't have a title for the second book, again. Well shit!

I'm still banned to the couch since I can't walk, but at least it's raining, and that's good because it means that I can't go outside for a walk, which is something that I love to do. Well, if the weather is good.

Have a great Sunday!

The day after!

The holidays are over, and routine has set in, again. My ankle is doing better, but I still can't walk properly on my right foot. Writing goes well, and of that I'm glad. On Wednesday my sister treated my ankle, she's a holistic healer, and I'm always pretty sick afterward.

I know that when I get a holistic treatment, I need to rest for the day. However, it's seldom that I have that luxury. So, when I got back home after the treatment yesterday, I went to work immediately. It was wrong, so very wrong.

Holistic treatments are very intense and shouldn't be underestimated, which I always do. That's why I was sick yesterday. Holistic treatment always makes me feel like all the negativity is being cast out of my body and soul. It's like a cleansing ritual. It always leafs me drained but then I have tons of energy afterward.

I will try and created the cover for The Wentworth Pack 02, this coming weekend. I'm not quite sure how or what. So, it will be a challenge, but I'm used to that. It will come to me, in time, I'm positive.

Summary The Wentworth Pack Book Two

A family member no one knew about, a baby who is so much more then meets the eye, and an old enemy who lurks around the corner. These are only a few of the problems that Alpha Eric Wentworth needs to deal with to keep everyone safe.

Add a new pack member, two angels who are in love with two of Eric’s pack members, an angel who goes missing, and we have the perfect ingredients for giving Eric a migraine.

Temporary Cover. I have trouble creating a perfect one for book two.

The Wentworth Pack Book Two (title unknown).

The Wentworth Pack Book Two (Title?)

On the couch, once again! My ankle still hurts a lot, although the pain is lessening, thank God. When I woke up this morning; I did notice that my husband already left for work, which means that now I need to fend for myself.

Since I'm not able to even put a little pressure on my right foot, I move through the house on my office chair. Boy, let me tell you, it's exhausting. But I'll get there, and that's what's important.

The last few days were very productive. That was the one good thing about spraining my ankle. I need to stay off my feet, which means that I got a lot of work done while on the couch.

Eric and Jory's story is right on schedule, and that pleases me to no end. Although, I still don't have a clue how it ends. Well, it will come to me, eventually. It always does.

Also, I started on the third, and probably the last book in the Grapevines & Skyscrapers Series. It will be a very romantic story.

So, now it's back to writing again since I'm not able to do anything else while my foot still hurts so much.

Have a great day!

Damn and double damn!

Yesterday I sprained my ankle because I needed to stop Max, my dog, from running to the fence and bark at passers-by. In doing so, I twisted my ankle, and now it's sprained which makes walking impossible. This morning I tried to walk on it, and the pain was excruciating. It will make me think twice before I try that again!

So, that will be my Easter day, lying on the sofa and let my hubby serve me LOL. Well, it's not how I imagine the holidays, but what you can you do.

Grapevines & Skyscrapers 02 is available for pre-order now, and that means, continue with The Wentworth Pack book two, for which I still don't have a title.

My husband made some delicious breakfast, and now I'm resting on the couch, happily typing away on my keyboard, writing my blog for you.

Yesterday I started reading The Wentworth Pack book two, well, what I wrote so far, anyway about twelve chapters. I need to read back since it's a while that I worked on it, so I don't repeat thing because that wouldn't look good. Right?

Well, anyways, have a fabulous Easter! I know that I will.

The Finishing Touch!

Today is all about editing. I finished all my other chores and errands, so that gives me the time to concentrate on Grapevines & Skyscrapers 02 Reunited!

Even though my fructose allergy has reared its ugly head, again, I feel fine. Since I suffer a lot from this kind of allergy, I know what to eat, and what not! The problem is that I'm hungry, all day long. I can't eat much so every meal is a small one.  Aside from being hungry all day, I feel okay.

I finished Grapevines & Skyscrapers 02 ahead on schedule so instead of publishing the book on March 27th  for pre-order it will be available for presale on March 20th.

Grapevines & Skyscrapers 02 Finished, at last!

I finished Grapevines & Skyscrapers 02 Reunited. Well, the writing part anyway. Now it's about editing.

Grapevines & Skyscrapers 02 Reunited!

"All though Raphael suffered from amnesia, his soul did not; it still remembered Julian as his soul-mate. That was something that wouldn’t change, even if Raphael would never regain his full memory again. The heart always knew what it wanted and what it needed. Raphael’s heart belonged to Julian, plain and simple."

Haley Langwood

I loved writing this story because I really connect with Raphael and Jory. Plus a big part of the story's setting is in Italy because that's my favorite country.

Now it's back to editing so that I can put the book up for pre-order.

Grapevines & Skyscrapers 02 Reunited

Soon available for pre-order!

Julian stood by the window. He didn’t turn around when he heard footsteps behind him because he knew who it was. “He’s back,” said the voice, his tone was gentle and subdued.

Julian didn’t answer right away. After a minute he said, “So I heard,” and Julian sighed when he felt George’s hand on his shoulder. “Do you need some company?” His friend asked softly.

“No! I need to be alone for a while. Gather my thoughts, you know? But thanks,” Julian gently interrupted his friend. Right now he needed to be alone. Julian still struggled to understand what had happened some five weeks ago.

Summary Grapevines & Skyscrapers 02

I've been working feverishly on "Grapevines & Skyscrapers 02 Reunited" for the last few days. Writing on Raphael and Julian's story goes better than expected, and that's a good thing. Yesterday I finally finished the summary for Grapevines & Skyscrapers 02. Sometimes it comes to me right away. Other times, it takes me a bit longer to write a one.

Today the sun is shining, and there's almost no wind. So, hubby and I took the dogs for a nice, long walk.

To breathe fresh air was heaven because I was cooked up inside for two whole days. That was hell. Also on Monday, I start dieting again because of my fructose allergy. That's hell too, haha.

The problem with having a fructose allergy is that nearly every product has sugar in it, even the so-called health food stuff.  It means, baking my own bread, only fresh vegetables, no fruit and particular sweeteners like rice syrup.

In the beginning, it was very complicated, but now I know what to eat and what not. Plus I have meds that help digest the sugar.

Have a great Sunday.

Progress!

Good morning everyone! The sun is shining, and Grapevines & Skyscrapers is progressing perfectly. I'm on schedule again, and that's a good thing. I was up early this morning because I wanted to watch the free practice 3 of the F1. After that, it was time for the qualifying. As I wrote before, I love Formula One, Two and three, and don't forget the Formula E Series. There is a lot of action. It's awesome.

This weekend will be all about working on G & S book 02 Reunited! I'm almost there, just a few more chapters. G & S 02 Reunited is scheduled for May, and it will ready on time. I hope to finish G& S next Saturday, that gives me enough time to edit and correct. The published cover is definitive.

So, I wish all of you a great weekend!

How Many Books?

I am, of course, a member of many writers groups. There's often the question of "How many books do you publish, in a year?"

I know of writers who publish a book every two to three weeks. And I know of authors who release one or two books per year. Since I only started releasing books in July 2018, so not even a year ago, I couldn't answer that particular question. I'm not sure of how many books I could publish in a year.

What I do know is that I'm not able to publish more than six books per year. I write novels, mostly. And that takes time, mainly because I have to edit and created a cover for the book. Plus, I'm not a full-time writer. Even when I have the time, I don't always write. I do, however, work on creating a cover or a summary. To write an excerpt isn't so easy as some people think that it is.

A summary is critical because that's why a reader can decide if they buy the book or not. Also, the book cover has to be a catching one and should show what the book is all about.

As I wrote above, I'm not a full-time writer. I still have my other job which is important because a girl has to eat, right? Other than many people think, few writers can make their livelihood with writing books. So, I'm glad that I still have a job other than writing stories. Although, I was lucky enough to turn my hobby (writing books) into a career. I'm selling books, so I'm now an official writer.

That's it for today! My dogs and my books need my attention. It's cold outside, so the weather is perfect for staying in and work on Grapevines & Skyscrapers book 02.

Have a great day!

New Cover and Other Things!

I'm working hard to finish The Wentworth pack 02. All though, I still don't have a title for this second book. But, right now, I have inspiration, and I know how the story proceeds and how it ends. Yep, it's all in my head and ready to be put on paper, well laptop. Then there's the cover that still needs finishing, and  I have no clue. I guess that I just have to wait for inspiration to hit me.

For these last few weeks, It was a struggle to keep writing. When I'm feeling down, or tired, then it's difficult to find inspiration to continue working on one of my stories.

I'm having a difficult time because my friend is very sick, she's dying. We've known each other for more than thirty-five years and it hard to accept that in a few months, she won't be among us anymore.

My Frustoose allergy reared its ugly head, once again and I hate it. Luckily there's a medication that helps the intestines to digest the sugar that is in so many products.

Good news! My rescue operation of the mini Maltese was a huge success. On Monday, I've checked, and all is fine. That makes me happy.

More good news! Max is still doing great. He can't walk long distances anymore, but that's okay. I use the Innopet dog stroller, so if Max gets tired, I put him in the stroller so he can continue enjoying our walk.

That's enough for now!

Have a good week!

Beautiful Sunday!

I'm busy working on a story that doesn't have a title, yet. I don't even know where it will lead me. Yeah, it's hilarious, I know. The weather is excellent, with lots of sunshine, which gives me always an energy boost.

Last night I discovered a hedgehog in the garden, so I immediately put some food and water in front of it. hedgehogs don't run away, so getting close to them is easy. At first, I thought that it was a small rabbit. My garden doesn't have lights, just the streetlamps and they keep the garden in the dark.

However, after placing down the food and water, I retreated so Joris, that's how I name him, could eat in peace.

It was Emma, who discovered the hedgehog. She's nearly blind, but apparently, Emma did smell the small animal. Max hadn't noticed it at all, and that was something that surprised me because he always knows first if there's an animal in the garden.

Today I won't have much time to write because hubby, Max, Emma and I will visit our friends.

When I'm working on my books, I rarely take the time to do anything else, and that's not right. If you work, you need the distraction, something fun to do, like seeing friends. So, today we are visiting our long-time friends.

On Friday, I went to see one of my best friends. He was the one who helped me with my writing. We had lunch and a good time.

I'm slowly doing better now. As I told you before, I rescued a dog, which took me several weeks. Plus my friend for over thirty years is dying. Her last CT scan was devastating, and I suffered with her. She's a year younger than I am. It's so unfair.

Anyway, I need to get ready, that means getting a shower and getting dressed because I want to look presentable.

Have a great Sunday!

Writing and recovering!

This weekend will be all about Grapevines & Skyscrapers 02! I've already written two third of it, but it's not done, not be far. The reason I waited so long before I continued Raphael and Julian's story is that I was stuck, and didn't know how to proceed. I still don't see how the story will end, or if there will even be a third book.

I have several projects that I'm working on right now. I'm writing on a story that doesn't have a title, even, and that's weird. There are flowing a few options through my head, but I'm not sure about the exact title, though. For now, I just continue with the story, and I'm confident that the title of this book will eventually come to me.

I'm on the couch, laptop on my lap and watching Father Brown (The UK Version) The role of Father Brown is played by Mark Williams ( Mr. Weasly) in the Harry Potter Series. I love watching Father Brown. My dogs are on the couch as well. Max is on my left, and Emma on the right. Yep, I'm covered in a dog blanket hahaha.

Hubby is running errands, so I am still in my pj's, after all, it's weekend. Plus, he doesn't mind doing some last minute grocery shopping.

The tiredness is slowly disappearing, and that's a good feeling because the last few weeks were hard on me.

I resued a small dog, and one of my best friends is dying, she had cancer and is in the last phase. She knows that there is no way she will recover and she is so brave.

The rescue and knowing that my friend won't have much time on this earth has sucked almost all of my energy. However, I'm slowly crawling out of that dark hole that I slipped into.

Now, it's back to writing again!

Have a great weekend!

Max and the veterinarian!

Today is judgment day, again, like every year for the last three years now. Max's heart will get an ultrasound, today! The ultrasound for Max should take place in October, later this year. We forwarded the date because Max isn't doing so well, lately.

I'll take Emma to the clinic as well. My Portuguese rescue can't stay home by herself, not without Max at her side. However, my husband will be there too. He drives from work directly to the animal clinic so that he can take care of Emma. That gives me the chance to concentrate entirely on Max.

I finished my work, and now I will try to write on one of my books. I'm working on three projects right now. To concentrate is hard, though. I'm nervous, and my stomach is in knots. The thought that my beloved Max would be very sick terrify's me.

Well, anyway that's it for now!
