My dog, my book and me!

I'm working on several different projects, as you know when you follow my blog. Writing is distracting me, and that's what I need right now. My doggie, Max is scheduled for an ultrasound coming Monday. His heart isn't the best anymore, and the vet needs to check his heart regularly.

Max should get his ultrasound around August of this year. But he's not doing so well right now. So, that is reason enough not to wait until August to do the ultrasound.

Also, I got the sad message that one of the 31 ex-puppy mill dogs has passed away. It turned out that she had Cushing decease. Now only 29 rescues are still living, for as far as I know. My Faith was the first of the ex-puppy mill dogs who died. That was 18 months after the rescue. The second dog that passed was my Sophie. Her spine was severely damaged, and there was nothing that could so, other than let her pass the rainbow bridge.

Now Max is showing signs that his heart is getting worse. I hope that I'm wrong.
So to work on my books is a big distraction for me, and that's just what I need right now.

The Wentworth Pack book 2 is on the way, and I hope to publish it at the end of May.

Have a great weekend everyone!
