Writing is going well again. Collin and Matthew's story is progressing, and I'm happy about that. I will have lots of time to continue writing because Emma, my rescue, is getting her eye operation on Friday. That means that my schedule is cleared for at least three days. I'll be on the couch beside my little doggie, and that will give me time to watch her and continue writing at the same time.
Hubby has cleared his schedule for tomorrow because I need him to drive Emma en me back from the clinic. Hubby drives, so I can sit in the back and keep Emma calm. I think that after her operation, Emma has to wear an Elizabethan collar, and that frightens her to no end. So, that's the reason that I will sit with her in the back of the car.
I need to prevent her from getting a panic attack because she will fight to get that damn collar of off her neck. Emma is a small dog, but she is very feisty.
If all goes well, then Emma will get her sight back as soon as next week. I read a lot about cataract operations. I always read a lot about things that I know nothing about, so I can prepare for what's to come.
My next story, "Guardian Angels," will hopefully be ready for publication at the beginning of September. This week I started making notes for the book I'm going to write about my rescue dog, Emma. Plus more notes for a new story.
That's it for now! Have a great day y'all!
